the interview went okay, i just don't know how to feel about it. they didn't tell me yes, but they didn't tell me no, either. i was told: right now we are looking for someone more web-oriented, but we will be looking for people like you in the "near future".
what. 6-8 months?
they asked to keep my portfolio (which really impressed them, apparently) but i left without an answer. no for now? was it their polite way of telling me thanks for nothing?
i sat around for and hour and a half only to have a five minute interview that ended in an ellipses.
so i'm disappointed, but not surprised. i'm an illustrator, not a graphic designer. i knew i wasn't what they were looking for, but i guess it was worth a shot. if only i could find an illustration job-- i'm just not cut out for graphic design.
